Molly has been teaching, performing and competing in the sport of jump rope for over 23 years. She has visited over 35+ countries conducting extensive workshops, camps and competitions.
Molly is a certified instructor with the USA Jump Rope Organization, CPR certified and is certified in NETA as a group fitness instructor. She sits on the Pan American Rope Skipping Organization Board as Treasurer. Molly is also the International Rope Skipping Rules Facilitator and Trainer for the Pan American countries, ensuring judges are educated and prepared for the International Worlds Competition. She holds 5 World Championships.
She has most recently launched a website of which she will be creating a "one-stop-shop" for jump rope education, apparel and community. She has partnered with her community Recreation Centers in the Boulder, Colorado area currently instructs after school jump rope programs, consisting of a beginner's and intermediate jump rope courses. Focusing on all the aspects of the sport including: Single Rope, Chinese Wheel, Double Dutch and Long Ropes. For the past year she continues to see a consistent 15 - 20 kids per session. Molly strives to encourage kids the new trend of jump rope as a sport and future inclusion into the 2012 Olympic Games.
Her passion behind her teaching is to cultivate the sport through a train the trainer program, creating 1,000's of jump rope instructors and solid programs throughout the world. Providing education, direction and certification to athletes that want to stay involved and give back to the sport. She plans to launch her program in the summer of 2008.
She has also partnered with a machine designer and has developed the sports fastest and most durable competitive speed rope available. Plans to continue developing new and exciting innovations to the sport are underway.
Molly continues to compete in the 18+ division for the International Competitions and 30+ for the United States. She is the current US record holder for 2 speed events in her age category, including a first place record in 2007 for a double dutch pair’s speed event in the 18+ category.
